MQT Acupuncture is an orthopedic acupuncture clinic based in Marquette, Michigan, dedicated to helping active people recover from injury, move with less pain, and get back to doing what they enjoy.
Treatment is centred on a clear, hands-on assessment and a practical understanding of how the body works. Instead of chasing symptoms, treatment is directed at the specific muscles, joints, and movement patterns that are creating the problem.
This is straightforward, results-driven healthcare. The focus is to restore function, build resilience, and make movement feel better — whether that means getting back on the trail, back in the gym, or simply through the workday without pain.
Meet Marc Weinrick L.Ac

MQT Acupuncture is led by Marc Weinrick, L.Ac., an acupuncturist specializing in orthopedic and sports-based care.
Marc has been in clinical practice since 2008 and has trained extensively in sports acupuncture and orthopedic applications. His approach is shaped by real-world athletic experience and a focus on efficiency, precision, and outcomes.
Lucca is a friendly, hypo-allergenic and loving Lagotto Romagnolo (Italian Waterdog). He will greet you, and hang out during your treatment (because your treatment usually means he gets treats too). He enjoys Lake Superior, hiking in the woods, harassing chipmunks and rabbits, and snuggling for a movie with popcorn.
If you prefer he remain in his office for your visit, please don’t hesitate to mention it when scheduling. He is very social, but will happily take a nap in the back while you are here.
